ABOUT TH
TH Motorsports was founded in 2014 by Kyle Hood as an organization that specialized in preparing racecars, winning races, and having a fun time doing it. Since then, TH has turned into more than just a hobby and weekend event, but as a full-time business. TH Motorsports is now a driver development program and complete race team that provides service for up-and-coming and seasoned drivers alike. We offer complete pull-down services and setup services to dial in your racecar for the specific track and equipment needs to meet the maximum potential.
TH Motorsports consists of a fully staffed and tooled race shop with the latest technology in racing. Whether you are a young driver working your way through the ranks, or an experienced driver looking for assistance to advance your program, TH Motorsports is here to fill that void.
ABOUT KYLE
Being in the racing industry all my life has taught me 3 of the most important lessons to success: how to build businesses, key ways to navigate problem-solving, and understanding why a team effort is important to achieve your goals.
In my many roles throughout racing, starting at the bottom, to now car owner / crew chief, I also learned how critical it is to give full attention to detail and preparing ahead for each job, as well as how to place the right people and help them learn their role to execute their duties so that we could attain success together.
CAREER EXPERIENCE
My deep racing history began in 1988 as a floor sweeper for Young Racing. From there, I have done everything from mechanic, fabricator at the shop, over-the-road-crew, to rear tire changer. All of this activity occurred within a 10-year span. From there, in 1999, I traveled on the NASCAR Bush circuit playing different roles again from car chief, rear tire changer, mechanic, and fabricator.
